If you’ve been charged with any of the following offenses, Georgia law requires you to complete a state-certified DUI School/Risk Reduction Program through the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) before your driver’s license can be reinstated:
- Driving Under the Influence (DUI)
- Drug-related offenses
- Drug possession
- Underage possession of drugs or alcohol

What to Expect
The DUI/Risk Reduction Program includes a mandatory assessment and 20-hour course.
The cost of the program includes a $100 Assessment Fee, $235 Course Fee, and a $25 Workbook Fee – $360 total.
All fees are set by Georgia State Law.
How to get started
1. Schedule Your Assessment
This is the first step in the process (required before the course). It includes 130 questions about you and your lifestyle. It takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes to complete.
The Assessment must be completed prior to enrolling in the 20-hour course.
The cost is $100 – a fee set by Georgia State Law.
2. Enroll in the Course
Attend a 20-hour, in-class course known as the DUI/Risk Reduction Course, taught by certified professionals. This is a key requirement for license reinstatement under Georgia law.
The total cost for the 20-hour course is $260 – which includes a $235 Course Fee and a $25 (required) Workbook Fee – as set by Georgia State Law.
Payment is due on or before the first day of class.
3. Complete with Confidence
Your Certificate of Completion will be either emailed to you or available for pickup on the next business day.
